Who once yelled “Go Braves!” at a Birmingham Barons’ game? It’s Penny Gay! While Penny may get confused at the occasional sporting event, she’s never confused about one thing: a positive attitude goes a long way. No really, she’s positive of that. Penny brings to the Bruce gang not only this can-do, gung-ho spirit, but a wealth of knowledge and experience. Having been with the company for over a decade, she’s always pushing: for better customer service, better prices, better everything. And you should take her seriously; she goes home and pushes a lawn mower around her yard and actually enjoys it. Having performed in local theater, the only thing that could enhance her job performance would be a performance, musical theater that is. Until then, giving our customers a reason to smile is the performance she does every single day, and we have to shout, “Brava!” with a standing ovation.
